Born in Tokyo, Japan in 1982, Moved to England and lived away from her family since 1999
Graduated London University of the arts - Central Saint Martins, BA Jewellery Design in 2006
Worked on the Solo Consultancy Projects with companies such as Swarovski, Links of London,
and Cartier while in Central SaintMartins Graduated Stone Carving Course in London Metropolitan University in 2008
In 2008, Collaborated with OSMAN in London Fashion Week, in 2009 graduated GIA G.G. and became gemmologist.
In 2008, Won Elizabeth Gage Silver award in Goldsmiths Design and Craftsmanship Award in 2D Fine Jewellery design
In 2013, exhibited in the Goldsmith Fair and MAIKO’s name has been added to “Who is Who” designer directory
In 2009, October, Established her own brand, MAIKO NAGAYAMA Limited company
In 2010, Exhibited in Dubai International Jewellery Show
In 2014, MAIKO got award for the stone carving section in the Goldsmiths design and craftsmanship award
In 2014 May, established MAIKO NAGAYAMA Japan, and opened a studio in Tokyo
