REPAIR
For repair or service for your MAIKO NAGAYAMA creaion, we are pleased to offer you the choice to make arrangements by contacting us through MN website or to submit your item at any of the shop you purchased our creation. Every pieces of our jewellery is guaranteed for 12 months from the date of purchase subject to normal conditions of wear. Please note that in order to return to us your faulty item in full in order to receive a replacement or free repair. Our warranty dose not entitle you to receive a replacement or refund for lost or stolen items. Gold vermeil plated and any other coated pieces will eventually fade with time. The nature os how the piece is worn and cared for can significantly affect the speed of fading. Vermeil re-plating and other re-coating are not included in your warranty although we do offer a chargeable re-plating and re-coating service on selected styles. Items adjusted by a person or company other than MAIKO NAGAYAMA or items returned for any reason other than a manufacturing fault will not be covered by your warranty. After-sale service
When jewells are worn for a long time, it cexposure to different temperatures or atmospheres can degrade it gradually. Jewellery needs special care and attention in order to maintain the quality of the piece. MAIKO NAGAYAMA offers several kinds of after-sale services for you in order to maintain the the beautiful shine your jewellery deserves. Check-up and Polishing Service
We check up your jewellery for loose stones and the surface scratches etc, and will return the article to you with buff polishing service using fine sandpaper, felt disks and different grades of polishing rouge in order to bring back the original shine of the surface, as if brand-new.
Ultrasonic Cleaning Service
We are able to clean most of your jewellery using an ultrasonic cleaning machine. Some jewells which contains soft and delicate stones such as emerald, opals, tanzanite, pearls cannot be cleaned using this machine.
Rodium, Gold vermeil, NANO ceramic coating
We use rodium to finish only on silver and white gold in order to enhance the brightness and whiteness of the metal. Rhodium also helps to prevent the silver tarnish. We also use gold vermail and NANO ceramic coating on solid sterling silver for some of the MAIKO NAGAYAMA Prêt-à-Porter pieces in order to give metals fashionable colours. We offer a re-coating service in order to maintain the vivid colour of the metal. All you need to do is to contact us for the maintenance for your jewellery.
Special Order
MAIKO NAGAYAMA Prêt-à-Porter jewellery collections uses mainly solid sterling silver or solid 9ct gold. You can order to make the solid sterling silver piece into the solid 9ct gold, or a solid 9ct gold piece into an 18ct gold piece according to your preference of the metal. In addition, you can also order the different gem stones from the original design depending on the design of the collection. It could take approximately 10 days if we have the same piece in stock or could take up to 12 weeks if we need to make it from scratch. Please contact us for further information and enquiries.
Re-sizing service
We try our best to prepare the standard size of each piece. We offer a re-sizing service to match your individual size requiments.

- M (Europe 52 ¾, US 6, Japan 12)
- P (Europe 56 ½, US 7 1/2 , Japan 15)
It could take about 2-8 weeks depending on the designs and extent of change needed from the original size. Some designs do not allow us to re-size the original piece because of the construction of the design, then we need to make the piece to your size from scratch which could take a longer time to deliver the piece back.
